Where are you

Nashville TN doing a 34 at a hotel. Met up with a friend of mine and we went to Cafe CoCo for dinner and then she and I went and browsed a bit at Hustler Hollywood (she wanted to take me there since I've never been).

Have to shower and do laundry some time during this 34...blech. Well, yay to the shower, blech to doing laundry. I'm going to try out those laundry sheets that are detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheet all in one. (they were on sale at Dollar General for $5!)

those sheets are ok as long as you dont have any hook pile tape on your clothing anywhere.. and also if you're really trying to go for the smell effect, then you'd be better off just skipping the sheets.

 

was at Kings Shipping in Dayton, Mn, now i'm down the road at the Ta.. may be an issue with this load because it has two extra drops.. and now i have to deal with after hours dispatch.

 

anyone know of a place i can park in Chicago, Il? dispatch said to run it.

 

I know of NO truck stops, there are a few rest areas and places with truck parking but would all be full hours ago.....


If i were you id look up the closest wall mart to where you are going and hope they let you park there Good Luck!

OR if your going to the Gary, IN side and you can make it there just go there LOTS of parking there.

well the drops aren't supposed to hit until monday, but my original dispatch said one drop on Sunday and one on Monday. I get paperwork from shipper and it has four drops, two in Chicago, and two in Indianapolis, i told dispatch that it can be done, but not on the schedule they have down on paper, they said run it and try to get the first two off tomorrow. If i try and fail, i'ma need somewhere to sit until Monday morning so that's why i'm asking... how have you been doin? haven't seen ya posting much, other then that whole huntin Injun scandal a few days back.

 

I'll be heading south on IL53 and I290... delivering to Bloomingdale, Il and second drop in Forest Park, Il... anywhere near those just if for some odd reason they wont let me drop early.

 

Service plaza's on the interstate 90 are about the only thing around.

 

I have a top secret place in Bloomingdale I park when I go visit my aunt. PM me if you think you need it.
