Where are you

Haven't seen any German here but I heard that Colonel John G. Cullmann, a German refugee who arrived in America in 1865 founded this city.

 

It may be to late for him to be the life of the party.. And,I wonder,why would anyone re-locate to the war-weary and devastated South in 1865?

 

Lots of carpetbaggers went South after the war.

 

He must have bought enough land (at say a pfennig on the dollar) to own his town!

Why go to town and pay money for watered down beer when you can visit the family still for free? Sheesh!

 

Stuck at the Flying J in Salt Lake City, Utah... blah. Until Monday morning. Shipper closed for the weekend before I could get there... blew a drive tire on the way there...

 

And overcharge the tourista's for the watered-down stuff!
