It WAS the week I was looking for you,9/28..

I think I am going to start a thread for the young and impressionable..What you hear me doing,-do the opposite,and you will be just fine;Case in point,this morning I went to Cabela's for the breakfast buffet,and that was great..Then,went to the gym,(felt guilty bout the buffet) did some free weight lifting and walked 2 miles on the treadmill,and that was great.. THEN,got a tall cup of coffee,mix all three of the above together,and,well,I have had a minor explosion on the inside... Not good,not good at all...

 

Sitting in great falls north Dakota. Head to a little town with no truckstop dispatch said I would be better off sitting here than in Langdon ND. They don't know what they are going to do with me yet ... Ran steady to be unloaded early so I wouldn't have to sit. THAT bit me in the butt

 

Stuck at home trying to find a new Carrier to work for..
Alot of options just not sure who I want to commit too..

O\O or L\P or company....
so far though company driver is looking more profitable since I do need medical insurance..
Researched many of L\P programs...cant figure out how anyone can make it at .88 to .92 cpm plus FSC...everytime I work it out on a spread sheet the numbers STINK and out of the possible $11,000.00 you can profit I still have to pay soc sec and medicare and fed and state taxes out that leaving me just enough money to buy a pizza and a 12pack...and thats all I get to eat ALL YEAR is just that ONE meal

 

Company driver ain't so bad. Problem is finding the right company.
