Man you are PICKY! Lower your standards some & those truckstops will be deliteful! I'm guessing next week we are going to hear the review about the TA in Jessup... They shut east Atlanta down, so your safe on that one... Montgomery, AL is another trash hole... Shreveport isn't much better. Gallup NM looks like a hole... But it is quiet at night. Albuquerque is and awesome place for a TA... If you don't get lost trying to find it, you'll get lost in the parking lot....


Oh. BTW! I'm at the TA in Amarillo (still) parked next to a reefer & another reefer.... I guess people automatically think they will get a nice quiet nights sleep parked next to a skateboard.

 

I parked at the Petro on 81 in southern Virginia once....waaaaayyy back in the corner so I could shut everything down and have a quiet rest. Went in for dinner and came out to a vintage reefer parked right next to me. I'm thinking 50's or 60's. There were a gazillion spots to choose from and he chose the one next to me. I listened to the motor's noise output (which was the envy of any rock band, by the way) for about ten minutes before I pulled up stakes to find a quieter neighborhood.

Mesquite, NV. Got bored and figured I might be able to get rid of this load tomorrow.

 

Yep sitting in the yard. Just ate a pint jar of homemade canned beets, YUMMY!!!

 

Las Vegas, sitting at the Pee-Troe. Don't deliver until tomorrow and since I have other stuff to do in a city on a Monday, I'm not going to try to get rid of this yet.

 

Vegas makes me crazy, the bright lights and all the noise just give me a super headache.

 

I'd be at the casino! Buffet, crab legs, poker, life is good!

Sitting at the house. Just got done washing the truck and working on my tan... Got to take off in a little bit, heading back to KY after I go get my trailer.
