Swift couldn't seem to supply me with the tool I need to do my job, that is- a truck. And Crete wanted me to lift 50lbs over my head 3 times- I only managed twice. So this time around I'm trying Glen Moore. If the whole operation runs as smoothly as the recruiting dept, I'm going to be very happy here.
Where are you

great post 07-379Pete, made this cloudy day in NY seem that much better... i thought 1nonly called Florida home, she seemed to be there enough, kinda like the otha miss lady who's always in Il..

I have a friend who worked for Glen Moore. he left pretty #### quick. low miles=low pay
-
Home finally after a long week last week. getting a reset and then some local work and then back on the road

Flying J - Carneys Point, NJ. Gotta get to Gordonsville, VA, by 5:15am tomorrow.

talked to a Swift driver for a good while today while getting unloaded.. the way he explained their system seemed so much better then what Knight has going on right now. He made it seem as if they had pretty much taken all of the human interaction out of load planning and it's pretty much just you and the computer.

Doesn't matter which company I chose, someone will have something negative to say about it.
It's a rare Swift driver who likes the new system. It does take all human interaction out of the process- including the driver. Speaking for myself, I'm sure glad to be out of there. It's not the reason I left, but I figure I had good timing. -
like no bull, i think the biggest gripe i've heard from other (bottom feeder) companies as most would call them, is the whole slip seat deal. he had nothing but good things to say and even showed me how the system sends alerts to his phone and what not, but really let loose when the conversation shifted towards the trucks.
Danville, Ny. gonna knock out the eight hour portion of a split, then creep on down the the Term in Carlisle, Pa for fuel and some waffle house. I actually got a choice to deliver this salt early tomorrow, or hold it until the 26th... tryin to figure out where all of this sudden freedom came from with my terminal.Last edited: Oct 24, 2011

I have no experience with this system and cannot comment on it until I do more research. But, from what I've seen so far, I'm glad I stumbled into this dedicated gig.

Hubby is in Seguin, TX at the shipper after having had transmission problems again which are supposedly fixed again. Took him over an hour to get through Waxahachie, TX due to the transmission problems (I know it takes much less time than that to go end to end of Waxahachie because I lived there with him and his family for about 4 years - well, when there is ice on the ground, it MIGHT take an hour but that is not the case there yesterday or today).
