Sigh. I could back up very well in the daylight. Just not so well when in 51 years about 97% of the time I was sleeping. Or when it was dark as coal.

And because of that I may never be OTR again....

Holed up in Alamosa. Chain law posted on 160. Was gonna cut down 285, but 285 is closed in New Mexico. It's 2 degrees and all of the cute little sweety pies are holed up somewhere warm. 3 degrees outside. Guess I will tie up a few trout flies and get ready for April.

AT, YRC sold us to Celadon, so that's where I am now.

That just sounds wrong on so many levels. And I mean that seriously. I hope Celadon takes better care of you than they apparently did RocknRollNik. He seemed pretty embittered by them. I would hate to see that happen to you.

Although you do look kinda cute when you pout.:biggrin_255:

Right or wrong, companies are always being bought and sold. Especially in trucking. We all know YRC is broke and struggling to stay alive. So they sold the one thing they had that was worth money- their TL division.

I am reserving judgement on Celadon until I'm out on the road and working. That's what counts. All this orientation stuff is just words. If it doesn't work out, I'll have other options. And Nik has given me a heads up on stuff around here, so I know what to watch for.

The pee doesn't freeze until it's out of his body. You don't need to worry about him having a dickcicle. However, I hope he's not a big dog. Mine could walk out to pee in that kind of weather, but his feet would start to hurt from the cold and I had to carry him back to the truck. No big deal, he's a 25 pound Basenji. If you can't carry your dog, get him boots and teach him to wear them. Once or twice in cold like that and he will learn to appreciate them.

(Add) Besides...it's hilarious to watch them the first time they wear doggy boots. Heh....
