Giggles, the hours dropped off drastically once our peak was over. I'm not complaining, the hours came in very handy, but at the same time I'm not totally upset about being back to 40/week. Now that things have slowed down some, I'm getting the chance to learn more about the new dispatch system, and it's possible I'll be doing some of the dispatching in February.
My co-workers in the office and the drivers have been so sweet. Being only a temp (for now-fingers crossed) they have given me Christmas gifts as if I was a regular permanent fixture. The drivers have been asking me if I'm staying now that peak is over, and the best I can tell them is nobody has told me not to come back...LOL.
Keep the faith that things will work out for the best for you and CB. I know it's not always easy.
