HAHAHAH.... Peru, Il.... No, Peru in South America. I bought some very heavy coats made by real Peruvian Indians. And gloves, and hoods that cover the face and scarfs...
Oh, a half Haitian person having to deal with snow on the Hindu Kush mountain.... I feel sorry for you.Well, when I was young, I too endured a lot of hardships, hitchhiking for almost a year on the roads of a third world country, sleeping on open fields, beaches, abandoned houses, construction sites, even on public squares.... Didn't have to deal with strong winter and snow though... but I'm sure if I had to I would.... But as I got older, I lost some of that endurance. And I will never get used to winter here.
Where are you

I am still at the same place since last Sunday. 5 to 7 walking mins down the hill where I am there's a huge supermarket and lots of other stores. I have walked up and down this hill at least half dozen times so far to go to the restroom (so I don't poop in the truck) and to wash my face and brush my teeth, bought some more food, mailed a letter, went to McDonald's.... and for some exercise, I like to walk. There's another driver from my company here.... today I invited him to go walk with me. The guy had been sitting in his truck for a couple of days....
So, we had a nice walk and did some grocery shopping.

Ohhh.... please don't tease me.... where is that? Is there where you are?

Earle, AR - because it's not West Memphis.
I was actually in Baytown TX last night along with 2 other drivers here. Had to go back to el shippero this morning and have them take 2 pallets off the truck to make this thing legal. Come to think of it, there was a LoneStar truck ahead of me when I was leaving this morning..... -
I was mad because I was supposed to be home 2 days only then I found out I have to have a emergency root canal!!
-
Ouch. I'd be p/o'ed, too.
