My DM must have been off today or something, I had a substitute and he had no problem talking to me (via QC) like I'm an idiot who doesn't know anything.

Welcome aboard. They treat you pretty well in Lincoln. FYI there is a bar just north of the motel. It is inside the neighboring motel. Is it callled Lucky somethin or other?

 

Oh, and I am in Bath, NY at the Peelot. It is large, but crowded and noisy. Why must people idle their trucks when it is 65 degrees outside??????

Your best bet is to STAY at Katy or Baytown for parking rather than the hellholes off 610!

 

Dave, Are you "Hot Shotting" now? If so, help a dweeb out. What is "Hot Shotting" and what is the pay like? etc....Seriously. Figure its Oilpatch, but not exactly sure.

I do have a question. The Pilot off 610. It seems the last two times I've been there, I've seen a truck stopped just inside the entrance with a Houston police officer giving them a ticket for something. Any ideas what they're cracking down on?
