I never thought anyone would remember Gene Tracy, I was never allowed to listen when I was a kid if my aunt was around.

On weekends my uncle would take me on his Saturday run to Baltimore and he would open up the 8 track case and tell me, pick one.

 

a person can never forget the classics.

 

Kind of the same thing here, my uncle had one heck of a twisted funny bone.

Yep, pretty much so.

I used to remember being stopped by the ICC with my uncle on National Pike, aka US 40 back in the 1960's. The inspector was pretty nasty to my uncle for letting me listen to truck stop tapes, if you compare them to what younger people listen to today it is pretty plane Jane.

 

sitting in Hopkins MN getting unloaded an hour early on my appointment while the other company trucks are sitting up on the line sleeping waiting to unload still.
