It's wonderful country out there for sure.

Regional --- Drop Deck? Perhaps but I'm getting my proverbial ##### kicked running regional / local Flatbed / Step deck. Some days I'm chaining strapping securing and un-chaining un-strapping and un-securing two to three loads per day and only running on some days as few as 130 - 150 miles :biggrin_25521:. Sure am getting a workout though :biggrin_25523:. Fortunatly I don't carry any tarps, don't need them... nothing stays on the trailer long enough :biggrin_2559:.

If I'm going to run Flatbed then I want to secure the load and then take it about 2,500 miles before I need to climb all over the trailer again.. Getting old here and the body is letting me know every day that it has limitations :biggrin_25523:. BwaHahahahahaha!!

I am running an ice box right now just swinging doors.

If I were to run regional step deck, I'd be doing what I can for finding stuff that needed chains and no tarps. Mainly for equipment.

Otherwise, I want to run west of the Mississippi line. Start at Chicago and drop it down and west.

Jeez I want to get back into the mountains.

Perhaps I need to look into that possibility, seems like those jobs would fill up FAST though. How's the turnover? does it grind up and spit out the wannabes? Big $$$ but 80+ hour weeks? 14 hr. shifts etc.

Hmmmmmmm. Sounds kinda like OTR hours with better pay and home time :biggrin_25523:
