Nah... Dillon's DC, followed by a quick repositioning to the backside of the Walmart. Hmmm... no knarly native gal behind this one. (darnit!)

It needed something bad! The night bugs in Missouri and Oklahoma get bigger and gooshier every year - followed by a major west Texas dust storm. Ugggh! My poor truck!

 

I used to have a chrome bumper on the front. It's now a bug-textured one. Every night this past week when I first pull into the yard, I grab the garden hose they have by the shop and hit the windshield. By that time I can barely see out.

I have a dash-cam, and was recording Friday, until a bug hit the windshield dead center of the lens. It looked like well, someone blew their nose on it...

 

Clearwater, MN headed in for some this good grub they got in this joint.

 

Same place I was yesterday, but today a found a much better room in the back of this small truck plaza where I can plug my laptop. It has a big table, very quiet and with view to the truck outside. I like this place. About 3 yrs ago I came here in the winter. It was about -11F... I didn't idle and fell asleep inside the sleeping bag, under lots of blankets. Woke up at 1:00, ready to go p/up a load and the truck froze up. No lights, engine wouldn't start.... My gallon of water turned to a solid block of ice.... I put my flashlight in my mouth and flashlight got stuck on my lips... I couldn't get it out... What an experience.... I was a little more of a rookie then, than nowadays...
