sitting in columbia nj t/a.just had a/c fixed for the 2nd time this month.5 time last summer. hope this one is better.

Now HERE is a driver I can sympathize with!

Actually, when I called our breakdown department this morning to help set up a run to a Crete shop, he gave me a helpful suggestion:

"Take all the stuff out of your truck, find a cliff, and let 'er go!".

From the tone of his voice, he was only half-joking. I think this problem with these battery-powered APUs is reaching epidemic proportions....

 

headed up 99....dont load til monday headed to the motel with a indoor pool and jacuzzi.....

 

Shoot....thought y'all had those in your truck!

 

I really feel for you guys out there with the A/C problems. As hot as it is here, I can't come close to imagining what y'all are going thru. I admit the heat and humidity turn me into a wimp. Y'all don't have much of a choice in your situations but to keep rolling. When I hear people beyatching about truck drivers, I want to slap them silly and explain to them what you go through out there. I'll be the first to tell ya I couldn't take it, I'd have to find a motel room.

 

Pack....if we did we would never drive....lol

TB it is miserable without A/C...we have ran several times before without A/C to wait n get it fixed (at the yard) to save the boss some money...even thru DEATH VALLEY in the summer.....its awful...i feel for you guys....
