Y'all are working too hard already this morning. Bumpers should be about halfway home, IP is hopefully sleeping or his dream became a reality and he's loaded and moving. Rocks, hope the noisy trucks didn't disrupt your sleep, too much. I'm not sure if Bumpers is trying to entice Rocks to MN for hometime or to keep her there. NeeCee might enjoy having Rocks there to help keep Bumpers under control (or is that out of control :biggrin_2554:) Trucker Mike, I don't believe I've seen you here before, so welcome to the madness. Gasie is gassed up and running hard.

Me, I just got woke up by 3 kids who wanted food. Hubby got up, so I decided to stay up a while, then I'll go back to bed later. Supposed to get our cool down starting today, we'll see if it happens.

    Bumpy Thanks this.

My stepdaughter lives about 20 mins away from Schlitterbahn, in Edwardsville. She had never been there and went with us. She liked it, and is thinking about getting a season pass next year. It is an expensive attraction, $25 per person for about 5 hrs of splashing. BUT (and there were plenty of them there yesterday...:biggrin_255:), the real pricy merchandise is the beer, $6.75 a bottle :biggrin_2556:

There's some real nice houses around there, I'd love to have one like them, not in KC though. I've lived most of my adult life outside any city limits. I'm more of a country boy. I spent 9 months in Dallas, and that was waaaay too long. You might check around Edwardsville. In the area where step-daughter lives, there's several for sale right now. It's a woody area. Heck yesterday on the way from her house to the waterpark, we saw 3 deer standing in someones front yard.

Oh, yeah. We've looked at a few in Edwardsville. I never realized just how big that little town of the highway is until we started looking around at houses. We both prefer being in a smaller town, or at least in a quiet neighborhood. The area we checked out around the Legends and the Speedway are back off the main drags.

Sounds like all of you had a great time yesterday. I'm glad you got to have a fun day with the family.

I'm sure you could start your own commune, dear

Thank you for the explanation.... I didn't know... Haven't ever seen this word been used in English vocabulary. I know it is 3rd person singular, present tense of verb seguir in Portuguese which means to follow.

Sorry... I thought it was a typo.... honestly....
