Well mom's surgery got postponed until Friday. This is after I asked for tomorrow off. Dispatch did have me scheduled to run a loop that would have kept me out all night. However he said no problem, just do another double run to Newton tomorrow, that way we can be sure to have you back.teddy_bear6506 Thanks this. -

Hey Eaton, hope and pray everything will go well with your mom surgery and that she will have a quick recovery.
Eaton18 Thanks this. -
Me too well I just left and went to ihop. -
Sending good thoughts the way of your mom, Eaton. I hope all goes well, and please let us know how it goes.
I get up about 0245 every morning, so I can have some quiet time with my coffee and kids (cats), get my hair fixed, feed the kids, make a lunch. By the time I get all that done, it's 0445 and time to scoot. I stop for a cup of coffee 1/2 way to work, and get my gas. If all goes well, I get to work about 0630. I like to leave a little extra time for those unexpected things that come up, like yesterday when my normal gas stops pumps went down just as I pulled in. I had to got to another station, which was out of the way, but at least I wasn't late.
Rocks, sorry to hear about your bad day. Once you sit back and eat your dinner, do your paperwork, and relax a few minutes, maybe tomorrow will be better.
Dave, good thing I set that alarm off so you didn't oversleep. I don't have much chance of oversleeping, cause my 3 kids know what time I get up and if I'm a few minutes late, they come in to get me up.
I'm learning my new job duties pretty well. I'm starting to understand more of how things are done, and the people I have to deal with are very helpful about explaining the things I'm unsure of. My trailer repair guy(s) are GREAT!!! I called him today to tell him about a trailer that had been damaged by a blow out last night, and he thanked me for giving him a heads up so he could make sure he had everything he needed to fix it in the morning. I don't usually have to call him, as he is on the lot checking all the trailers before I even get there, then waits for me in case I have something that he didn't see.
Today I got my first order of washer fluid in, Now I'm waiting for my oil to get here. As long as the drivers keep me informed of what we need, I can get the orders in.
Now it's time for me to go see what my pillows and sheets have been up to all day. I've missed them dearly.

Van Wert OH, at the Walmart. They oughta give me reserved parking as much as I stop here on grub runs!

After getting up early I stayed out until 19:35. Sitting here filling out my turn in sheet with today's 11 delivery tickets...

Indy at our yard...picked up a trailer with a missing mudflap and had to come this way anyway. Makes tomorrow a little longer, but compared to the way things have gone lately, this is nothing.
And as far as my glasses....I got the bifocals, transitions lenses with scratch resistance, glare resistance, charging elephant resistance, pestilence resitance, and little itty-bitty windshield wipers.
