The joys of pulling a reefer, I'm in these same places just about every week..

 

turlock ca...made 1 pick (livingston) now gettin this one...then 2 more tomorrow...would do em today but they stop shipping at 6 pm....whats up with that???...then back to TX

 

Ended up with 7 total today.

Rolled in around 19:00.

 

Giggles had 4 p/ups, Dave had 7 stops.... WOW!! I don't like when I have one extra stop... If one customer delays, then it affects the next one... and the time it takes at each customer.... Well, this account I am in doesn't pay extras and no detention either.... Last week had a trip with 2 p/ups... first customer "held" me for 5 hrs... Couldn't make second p/up on the same day and had to reschedule the following trip as well...

 

oh goodness ROCKS.....4 picks in produce is nothing...and we have a lot of unpaid waiting time....we also get paid % so we dont get paid for pick ups....years ago..it was nothing to have 9 or more picks...(early 90's)

 

Ohhh... Giggles... That unpaid business doesn't sound very attractive... My account doesn't pay any extras (except when I pull Hazmat) because they guarantee at least 2500 miles per week. Once in a while we have multiple stops. One time I had 10 deliveries at Walmart stores in Long Island, NY... I rushed as much as I could and did everything in almost 2 days.

 

Rocks they need to guarntee you an apu so you have ac and can cook

when i have mutiple stops it is always in NJ or FL
will be running into flip flop one of these days for sure

and of course i need to try and stay in front of ironpony

 

Heh! No need for a/c tonight! It's a divine 59 outside- nap time south of Flagstaff AZ...

We get $40 for extra stops but when you get a 3 stop load only 775 miles and 3 days to do it i might as well be LTL carrier
