My car is all ready to start back to work next week. I wish I could say the same about me; maybe after I get some more sleep over the next 3 days, I'll be ready, too. I just want to visit with my sheets at the moment.

i havnt taken a day off since 6/11 and this morning
DM said this is a meat load it has to be delivered on time
hmmmmmmmm a meat load oh my i havn't had one of them in maybe 3-4 days
and never had a late load
maybe she thought i was someone else

 

Sitting down here in Monticello, MS waiting for a load that was supposed to be ready yesterday! Now they are telling me tomorrow! There went my weekend. Grrrrr

Delivered this load, 44.500 lbs of water at a Walmart in Metairie, LA. Then, had to go park somewhere for my 10... All truck stops that I found in the book in the area charge $$$... Didn't want to go west on I-10 because of closures, etc. So, I came to this place... guide book says is a truck stop, I called and they told me this is a truck stop....They don't charge but you park at your own risk... Got here, and it's a small casino place, with 2 fuel pumps in an empty area (showers are $ 3.00 but I'll wash myself in the truck)... Absolutely NOBODY here, no other truck... Only this casino (saw a few cars parked in front when I arrived) and a permanently closed diner place... grass has grown around it... The side street is flooded and all traffic pass through this parking lot to avoid the water... I parked here because had no time to go anywhere else, according to this nanny-box... Actually, there's another casino nearby with a large truck parking area... But I found out later... So, will stay here overnight.... Hope will be safe till tomorrow morning. Will post pics of this place tomorrow, after I leave... Hey Transam Pete, I think you would NEVER bring your Blue Beacon scrubbed clean truck here... LOL... Well, load was going to p/up tomorrow was given to someone else who needed more than I. Will pick/up in New Orleans on Tuesday... And till then, was suggested to check in with Walmart for loads... We shall see.
