Unloading at Dollar General in Marion, IN

I think it's ironic...not to mention idiotic...that this facility makes you slide the tandems to the back, unhook, chock the trailer tires...all in the interest of safety for DG employees.

But then, the driver has to walk through the aisles where the forks run in and out of various lanes of goods to get to the receiving window without offering or requiring a safety vest.

....and the world gets stupider....

I took a nap and woke up sicker than a dog after eating a grape, then took some medicie. Called dispatch and got a swap, he left 6 minutes ago. Tylonal is wearing off.

Manchster Terminal/Port of Houston. Brought about 9k pounds of Hazmat here.
Paperwork is taking forever.
Got stopped by HPD DOT cop. No ticket just warning. Took a precious 45 minutes away from me.

 

All I needed was to top off the reefer what a joke...I bailed and went across the street..
