At home for now, truck is in the shop having the oil changed and new brakes, got one that was wearing out aster. So they replaced them all "because it's unsafe."

Back home for the weekend. Took Kiln Dust to a Railroad Switch Yard construction site on the North side of Catoosa, OK. Had to drive waaay back in the sticks, then climb an embankment with my 85.5k lb truck. I thought I captured it on video, but when I got home, I discovered it had been recorded over. Oh well, I know I'll be back several times. Then loaded with fertilizer at Port-33 to deliver on Monday to Clay Center, KS. Came up US-169 from Tulsa, then K-39 to US-75. Between Yates Center and Burlington ran into a severe T-Storm.

Now my younger brother was loading steel at Cargill in Catoosa. We were hoping we'd get to run back home together. Sadly thanks to those union jerks, would not happen. He called me around 4:30-5pm. He had to turn around at Nowata, OK. Road was blocked from downed power lines, and semi's blown over. Looked on the internet, and it seems that whole area of Oklahoma was hit hard. Parts of Will Roger's Turnpike closed due to blown over big trucks.

Boy am I thankful and glad I left when I did!!!

Kinda seems that way, and not that we want to.

Last night I was camped at the Phillips 66, Cherryvale, KS on US-169, right beside a green TransAm truck. Thought it might have been you, but the truck really wasn't OD Green.
