still at Jubitz, my OS canceled and i got a TONU, booked another load got to shipper and they say the customer just canceled got another TONU

i booked another load for tomorrow and i hope it is their and ready

 

Another busy day here... and running through Atlanta again, and again... and again... and maybe some more tomorrow.... I felt like a local driver running short runs... Pick up a load this morning, did drop and hook in La Grange, GA, then rushed to Forsyth, Ga, got loaded and another drop and hook in Conley/Atlanta, GA an back to La Grange... Now I am parked here, behind another small fuel station that will close at night. Nobody around now but some trucks may arrive later tonight. Tomorrow will go back to WM about 3 mins from here and they will use me for their store loads... More short runs and more drop and hooks... But on Saturday I will be going to company terminal for my "hometime" in a hotel. Have lots of many important things to take care of and not much time... Soon will be back on the road again....

Rolled in right at 19:00 at the home 20. Pork Chops and cheesy rice for dinner.

Found out today it will be the first of the year before I'm hired on permanent, full time. Company politics; they can only hire so many temps/year. I have 4 people pushing for me, though, so I'm feeling pretty confident. The boss and I had a nice chat this afternoon about how much things have changed in the year I've been there.

I'm also going to be moving in to a brand new cubicle. Twice the space, won't be in the front office with all the traffic running back and forth, all the noise right outside the office door, etc. I'm hoping they have everything ready so I can move in before I leave tomorrow, but if not, it will probably be next week.

Dang did it turn chilly here today. The past 2 days they've been working on the remodel and must turn the A/C down at night, then forget to turn it back up during the day. The dispatcher and I have been wearing sweaters and using our little heaters. I never even used my heater this past winter.

I'm tired, it's Thursday night, and I'm ready for some sleep time. G'night y'all.
