In a few hrs I will have my 70 again. Not that I needed for I still had 60 hrs available... Tomorrow I will leave this truck stop and check in at shipper again, with or without appointment. When I am not doing anything for a while, seating in this truck, I start getting bored and my depression comes back... :biggrin_2552:

    What's so good about Maine?

    IT AIN'T NEW JERSEY!

But really....it really is different. Hard for me as a California boy to describe. But I don't even mind it in the winter. Heck, they know how to do things up there when it gets ugly. And if it's too ugly, stay in. I've never minded going up there. Hope to do some serious vacationing up there when I'm done with this stuff.

And speaking of NJ....I'm southbound on the NJTPKE, at the southernmost service plaza....whoever it's named after.....

Rapid City, loading SUV's for Sioux Falls. And a repeat tomorrow... pheasant season is getting close!

Next week, (and until further notice,) I'll be running new Fords south out of KC into OK. If ya see a red and white Star with a tuffsumbeach driving, give me a shout!

Your terminal in Olathe isn't close to 100 miles from where I work. It's only about 10 miles :yes2557:

I know how you feel, Rocks. My depression gets so much worse when I'm not keeping busy. I also have more panic/anxiety attacks when I sit around too much.

Wherebouts in KC, Mr Hammer? I've been seeing a lot of car haulers in the wee morning hours. If our paths do cross (not literally) can I pick out a new car if I see one I like?

    Rocks Thanks this.

Still going great. We're in our peak season, so loads have picked up a bit, and it's keeping me busier during the day, although somehow being busier, I get done quicker and have time to do more than usual.

The dispatcher took off early Friday before last, then all day last Friday. I'm taking off tomorrow to take hubby to his VA Dr appointments. This morning the boss came out and asked us if it would be okay if he took off next Friday...we all just laughed and told him we thought it was his turn.

That first photo of Maine you posted is absolutely gorgeous.

I've been stopping in to read early in the mornings, but don't have time to post much. I'm catching up tonight before the VP Debate starts. I don't generally watch stuff like that, but I think I will tonight.

    Rocks Thanks this.

It's been a while since I've been down there, TB. Best I remember the railhead is back behind Peterbilt on 435 over on the west side. But it's been 6 years since I've been in there...

And you may pick to your heart's desire, taking is a wholly different proposition!:biggrin_2559:

Well, once you get there and refresh your memory, you'll have to let me know so I can be on the lookout for you.

I know there is a Peterbilt on the KS side, off 435, across the street from the Swift terminal, right next to the KS river. I don't know if there is a rail yard close by there, however.

I was hoping you'd not only let me pick the car out, but drive it off the truck for me. How about if I meet you at the rail yard and save you even having to load it?
