Been home for the last 3 days. Taking out the trash today I cut my finger on the edge of a tin can, lots of blood, 2 hours sitting in emergency and 3 stitches later I'm back in the game! Got a load out tommorow so going to be nursing the finger for the week until the stitches come out. It surprisingly didn't hurt until the doctor stuck a needle straight into the cut to numb it!

Hey! Thank you for the info. Will make a note on my TS guide. I checked it out. It's a very small place. Does it close at night? Those use to have less trucks...

3 stitches?! WOW! That was a serious and deep cut! :biggrin_2556: Hope it gets healed quickly. Did you take a tetanus vaccine?

Hey Eaton.... glad you are safe too after close encounters with the idiot drivers... I have no other way to describe these folks... doing stupid things in traffic, not using turning signals... and it seems this is becoming more and more frequent. I see folks playing with their smart phones all the time and not paying attention on the road... and I give them a killer look :angry1:

Anybody at White Pine, TN truck stop? Taking my 34. It's been raining.... and I feel like staying in my "shell" till time to leave. This place has nowhere where drivers can plug their laptops... :biggrin_25510: All the outlets at McDonald's are covered... :biggrin_25510:

I had a tetanus shot within the last year so didn't need one today. Yeah it was deep cut, went from the tip of the finger down to just above the first knuckle . Basically right down the middle of the pad of my finger tip. I wrapped it up at home but it just wouldn't stop bleeding so I got in my pick up and drove to the emergency . I was home alone so just had to get on by myself. After getting it stitched I went to the grocery store then came home and finished doing my laundry. By then it was throbbing pretty bad so just taking it easy on the couch now!

    Rocks Thanks this.
