I am very familiar with the area--why i originally mentioned the DD at the hess across the highway--was only suggesting you might find it easier to use your laptop over there--was trying to be helpful--but maybe I didn't communicate that well

 

At the house---
Ok I have lived most all my life in Florida--and spent the last few years here in Pa since mama got sick--and here I am buttoning things up for a Hurricane???

Anyway here's the best part--as many of you know she has been waiting to be approved for major heart surgery--or I should say waiting for gov't approval for a new way to do the surgery--since Traditional open heart is out of the question in her case. So after going to the (as I like to call it)Big Time Fancy High Dollar hospital in NYC a few months back--we were told "We can fix you!" just as soon as this new device and procedure are approved. Could be next month, could be a few months--so we have been waiting for the call.
First the good news--the call came Friday--and she is scheduled for this surgery on Mon 11/5--
Then came the punch line--BUT WE NEED YOU UP HERE ON MONDAY blood testing and all the prep work so we are READY to go and have everything in place for the following week!--
So now while everyone is gonna be hunkered down up there for the storm--I get to drive her car at probably what they are saying will be the heart of the storm Monday morning up to NYC! LMAO You just gotta love it!!!

 

i had a coffee pot first 6 weeks was always in the way so i traded it for more space
and like drinking out of disposable cups anyway
on the boat I used to was out my dunkin Donuts cup use it for weeks

I know.........MEN LOL

 

I only have one prayer left in me till after the Patriots game so your gonna have to wait till 4 pm for yours
you might wanna make sure the techs at the hospital are going to be there b4 you put yourself in harms way

HEADLINE "Pa couple dies trying to get to NY to save a life" would not be a good obit

 

you have to talk to Rocks in Portugese to be fully understood and then there is this talking in "male" listening in "female" problem

 

Well as long as you have your priorities straight Pete! LOL Yeah and gonna have to wait and see what the AM brings--If it has to be put off so be it--I just hope it won't postpone her surgery date! More to come

 

'olhand, if you do take your mom, please use extreme caution. I'm watching Weather Channel, and this sounds like a monster storm. Sending positive vibes to your mom, you and your family. It was almost 1 year ago when my hubby had his surprise massive heart attack. Please keep us updated on how she is doing.
