I had an '86 300 SDL. I loved that car. Fantastic for road trips.

Got to the shipper for a drop and hook with 3.5 hours left in my day, just enough time to get far enough back west to make my morning delivery.

Unfortunately, it's not loaded and they won't get to me until 01:00.

    Guess I'm spending the night.

Gotta love hauling turkeys the week before Thanksgiving. :(

This is a picture of the picture of the truck my ex-husband and I used to travel across country, from coast to coast... I don't remember the model or the year... 70 something. It had a flat bed and my ex built a box on top. We were pulling a pick-up... if I find the other pictures, I will post here... [IMG]

Maspeth, NY, then Freeport, NY then Port Washington, NY. Guess I'm in a New York state of mind today...

$11.00 / mile AND I get to watch the wildlife in its natural habitat.

I got home about 19:00 last night. I took a couple Tylenol PM and they put me OUT!

Got a morning rum. 9.5" long 267#. Have a plan that I talked over with dispatch. I'm only taking the pickup!

Now, now... the PEOPLE of Queens will not take well to being called "wildlife." :biggrin_2559:

Last service plaza on the Thruway before being subjected to Jersey. And morning traffic. I'm gonna procrastinate for a bit.
