I showed up for my early morning appointment there once and they laughed at me - apparently my load hadn't been produced yet, and wouldn't be ready until around 2am the next day. They let me drop my trailer in the a door, and I bobtailed home (2 hours). Came back the next morning and my trailer was loaded, BOL in a slot in the box next to the door. Nice folks over there.

That is one thing that is good about the place...everyone is very nice. Makes it a bit easier to tolerate for sure.

Westfield, MA C&S warehouse. Broker didn't answer the phone, so I unloaded my truck, turned 25 pallets into 23, and now I'm parked back in the staging area making out an invoice for $140 in lumper fees that now goes in MY pocket. I think I'll celebrate with a nice bowl of hot New England clam chowder with oyster crackers.

C&S says I can park here as long as I want - so I think I'll get a restart, probably drop the trailer and bt around town tomorrow.

Well....they begged and pleaded, shed a couple tears, so here I sit waiting for this produce load to get ready to go all the way to Bishop! Then empty down around and up to Modesto......Next week, back to the northern route of I-5....perfect timing....chains probably in the works for that run!
