I agree. There have to be some limits but it would be nice to have an exception. All I needed was 2 more hours.

My delivery did get moved to 4:30 but I was told to get there ASAP.

If we had all been "reasonable" 20 years ago we wouldnt have all the rules we have now
the goverment overreacts to conditions that need change
    but we started the problems

Today every driver who doesnt use a headset is the reason 5 years from now talking while driving will be banned on all trucks
and the people who scoff the laws only make things harder for those that follow the laws

I HAVE SEEN THE ENEMY AND IT IS ME

I kinda have the opinion these days with that they can come up with all the new laws they want. they just have to wait till I die or retire before they change the industry.

I got pulled over yesterday morning for speeding. Cruise was set at 67. The Sheriff asked if I knew how fast I was going on 152 Hwy? I asked if that was the highway behind us. He said "have you been on 435 all the way" and I told him since Platte City. He apologized and said that the last thing he saw was a white SUV going over 100 along with a dark pickup. I told him I saw the dark truck come off the exit and I moved over to let him in, but he was already long gone. I thanked the Sheriff for doing the job he does, and he apologized for pulling me over. When I saw those lights in my rear view mirror I just pulled over to let him by, I couldn't believe it when he pulled in behind me. I couldn't figure out what I'd done wrong.

I was pulling some flammable down US59 yesterday and some of my fellow drivers took one for the team and had the DOT cop and the Camero cop busy as I went by.

I appreciate what the cops go through. I just don't want to talk to them.

I have a known already ready order this morning and one which is apparently only a gleam in an SDV morons eye. Should be a hoot getting it out of shipping.

Home until Sunday. I'd come back out Saturday, but funeral is Saturday afternoon and the wife wants me there...mostly for her, so that's where I'll be.

Thanks for the kind thoughts everyone. They are appreciated.
