@ home for the day, leaving tomorrow bright and early for Rochester NY.

I'm also very tired of the cold...

theres a little place called ruttenbucks next to that dallas pike wv t/a that ya'll are at that has cold beer and decent food.

C&S... from whom I'll get a nice chunk 'o detention change. As usual. Slow busturds. They decided 27 cases weren't perfect enough for the trouble of pulling off of my trailer. GRRR! Mixed veggies, some kinda potatoes and pizza rolls... plus I had a newb on weekend night dispatch - no clue how this stuff works. So... couldn't do what I'd planned... roll on down to Clearfield for the "night." Pulled into Sheezzzz... because it was closest to where I wuz, and there were some obviously open spots.

Took forever to get ahold of claims this morning... 27 cases is pitch it territory, and I really HATE pitchin' good food. So about the time I'm getting ready to "pitch it," a New Century driver and his wife pull up to put him in the truck and send him off. "Hey, you want some food?" Yep! Found a good home for it. Then it was off to Selinsgrove for some chow for TruckerDawg (He sez, you dang well better be gittin' some more vittles fer me!) and a load of dead cows... for where I'm at. Saxonburg.

Turned down a preplan for PA to Oklahomy... company driver miles and welfare juice money. Not on my wagon. That's the second one this week - I also demurred on visiting our folks in Lewiston ME. So my preplan got replaced with a OH to PA run with the same gross... that means I'm having a real good week! :D

Oh, I think they grasp the vicious cycle plenty good, and view it as job security for themselves. :biggrin_25511:

Morning Pete n Patty. Time to start a new week, even though it doesn't feel like I had any time off this weekend. Good news; no snow in the forecast this week.

Y'all keep it safe and have a great day.

Feeling about as good as I have felt for any time in the last several days.
Gotta go later and at least turn in paperwork and get check. After that we'll see.
