Beach, ND. Sitting here wide awake and fully rested, 1 hour before my alarm was supposed to wake me, wondering exactly how the government came to the conclusion that making me sit here for 2 more hours while the remainder of my 10 hour break ticks away is going to ensure that I'm even more rested and can drive more safely.

 

It wasn't no new england snow storm pete, if you listened to them on the cb you thought the free world was coming to an end but i didn't think it was too terrible, i never dropped below 55mph and I'm in a tanker, was just all hyped up.

 

It's mulch season.

Here is where I actually get a break! Chains required on I-5 (Dunsmuir to Weed airport), I-80 Gold Run to Truckee, US 50 Pollock Pines to SLTahoe....and my new toy is waiting on parts at Freightliner HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
