I am at the same drop yard where I have been since yesterday... taking another 34 hr reset about 3 days after the last one... and may get another one on Saturday... Was going to p/up load nearby today but it was cancelled this afternoon... didn't care much cause would have to run at night and then try to take my 10 hr break at UPS yard... and not sure my dsp would have anything for Friday afternoon... After load was cancelled, got two other loads to replace... much better loads... But right after that, got a call from a CS (customer service) asking me if I would accept taking the load that was just cancelled... WTH!?? They couldn't ask my dsp cause he was too busy... Well... I apologized for not being able to take it... not enough time... My dsp said will have a new person helping him soon... Well, I hope so and hopefully this person will not quit like the last one...
So, I had a great, brandy new WM trailer yesterday but had to go back to WM and return it after my dsp said we would need a company trailer for this load that was cancelled today. So, I came to this drop yard looking for a trailer and there was nothing.... Was lucky though that a driver brought a good mpt trailer here this morning, otherwise I would have wasted more time going to Conway on a trailer hunt and then back there to return it after load was cancelled. However, will have to go back to WM for a WM trailer for this next load tomorrow....

Was going to go to Pilot nearby but that place is noisy, filled up with trucks... So I will stay right here.... It's very quiet and mpt... I have my food and everything I need... Turned the truck around for a different view...

Turned into a reasonable day. Two little boxes to two airlines.
Then go get 200# on I-10 just outside of Beltway 8 and take it to just off 290 just inside Beltway 8. Then go get the trailer and get 11,014# at a place I've been once before.
Then go back to SDV and get 4 more things. One place was closed so I have that tomorrow.

But first take the trailer for 8AM at SDV for 10K pounds due somewhere by 10AM.
Don't know where or if it'll fit. But gotta get fuel and air in a trailer tire before I go.

 

Watertown South Dakota. Not much exciting today. Left the house, got the load on , got some fuel and drove to were I am now. It's surprising how much can actually go wrong on those 4 parts of the day so to be un-exciting is a good day!

 

Shell truckstop... very small, a few miles west of Wichita Falls TX.
