That's where my 3 drivers park at night. Round these parts we call that Weidmaiers T/S. I'll honk around 0500-0515 when I head by on my way to Dearborn for some fuel both for the car and me Woke up a couple times to some pretty loud thunder and it appears to have rained, with lots more to come for the day. I came by to see if you were awake yet this morning, Eaton, but your tractor was dark. I introduced myself and my Toyota to your tractor. I think my car likes your tractor, it winked at it

From the sound of things, SD is about to get hit big time, so anybody in that region, use extra caution. I've heard that I90 is closed up there; we have a driver waiting on the "Transportation Big Head" to get here and let us know if it can be rescheduled for Friday, but I wouldn't bet on it. She doesn't seem to care if there are blizzards or other bad weather in any area-get the load there, then you can sit for 15+ hours if the stores can't make it in.

You guys are constantly saying someone took someone's else hood... I've never seen that.... Maybe I don't park at truck stops much... Maybe I am not paying attention to folks at truck stops... Actually, after I park, I do the truck inspection, clean the windows, and put the windshield shade up and go to sleeper to do my cooking, my paperwork and other business... and then I have left about 6 hrs to sleep... But I see, while I am busy doing my cooking, other drivers just sitting in the driver's seat and watching... maybe waiting to see someone hit someone's else hood?
Last night a driver backed into a spot almost in front of mine... and he was darn close to my hood.... But I pulled my windshield shade off, turned the parking lights on, and had my hand on the air horn the whole time, just in case he got too close to hit my hood... He saw me watching him and everything was ok...

Costco in Monroe Township NJ... gettin' unloaded... well, kinda. They got me locked in, but ain't nuthin' else happenin' yet.
