i am one of those TS watchers I guess . takes me 5 minutes to do paperwork. mostly microwave my meals . never close the curtain
so i have plenty of time and never sleep more then 5 hours sometimes i need a lil nappy in the middle of the day thou

 

The ol' truckstop rodeo is great entertainment... as long as it isn't YOUR hood that's getting rearranged!

 

Last I heard was 22" and I believe it was in Rapid City. The driver is still waiting here to find out if he is going out today, or if they are changing the appointment. By the time they make a decision, he'll be out of hours and she will still want him to run it.

We started out at 48* this morning and the temps falling throughout the day. Tonight they are calling for a rain/snow mix. I may need to stay home tomorrow. I'm just being a grouch today. It's one of those days I should have 4 walls around me and nobody can get in and I can't get out until quitting time

only the knight van stopped his forward progress

 

Maybe he got hit with surge?

I avoid sleeping @ truck stops as much as I can, I've got a fridge and microwave so I only need truck stops to shower & fuel.

 

I don't have a refri, use a cooler and bags of ice... No microwave either... slice and cut my vegetables, peel off my potatoes, the garlic and cook everything on a real stove/ burner. It generally takes less than one hr... After meal preparation, I put everything away, do the dishes, clean up... This truck is a real "home" for me...
Darn! It's raining and windy now... Will leave this truck stop early... want to have one extra hr to deal with traffic and arrive at the shipper before appt. time today.
