So, I lost the load picking up tomorrow in Atlanta, ga and going to near San Antonio, TX... It was a darn good load... But I knew if I asked to take my full 7 days off week, I would lose it cause I know shipper doesn't work on Sat... Anyway, they gave me this other Walmart load, picking up on Sunday border of KY and TN and going to WI. Not that bad... I gotta check out of hotel on Sat... So, I will put my things back in the storage, take what I need back to truck and hit the road on Sat. Will park near shipper Sat. evening so I will have all my full 11 hrs to drive on Sunday and pass Chicago...

honestly you will work yourself into a heart attack before the rules even change
i get 3000 mile weeks on recap hours
almost always park by 4 pm
and always take a break now

it will be ok

 

if i could of only got here to peru while sweetie was still here..........sigh

 

Come on Pete GET WITH THE PROGRAM--Don't u know these new rules will destroy this industry?? There quite possibly will b NO FOOD on store shelves by 15 July!! For the love of god man--The Sky is Falling!!!
I had three count em three VERY experienced drivers (from one o thos really big experienced companies)explain all this to me just this morning in Ludington Mi--We rcall going to go BROKE with these new rules!! Although one told me he was close to finishing a program to fix elogs--gamme a Biznez card and everything.....
Funny thing tho--when we all headed back out after checkin in there were only 2 pretty big blue trucks--but all 3 told me they Only run solo?
Then they stopped in front of this big long stretched out 379--and one said--must be nice--&another agreed--
I said" thanx (w/a grin) Its my Moms--but im gonna get me one some day!"

Well... good for you. No... I will find an alternative before I have a heart attack... But I don't think I can do the same.... Not in the company I am, with the loads and the schedules I get... You got my pms right?

 

Rocks my dear--I no it is none o my biz but--It is time u moved on--5 years--clean record--you passed with flyin colors U can work jus bout Anywhere u want--where u will b treated properly--and not have to struggle to make a living--u earned it girl--you e more n paid ur dues/--NOW GO FOR IT!!!!
