Where are you

Zen my dear... my "problem" here is not fear or anxiety... it's a bunch of other things related to my personal life and other details that I don't want to disclose in a public forum. There are several things going on in my life that makes hard for me to make a decision....to make any change at this point... besides, I have a very hard time making decisions...

On the "couch" with TruckerDawg listening to a bad (but cheap) sci fi flick, in my rolling home. Which has rolled to Fairfield ME this afternoon.

 

I asked company to fix the bunk heater last week truck was in the shop. It's working now. So now, I can turn it on and off so I don't get too cold in here. It is a cold wet day here in WI. Will do my cooking now... and will unplug my laptop so not to use too much of truck battery... Haven't run all day since yesterday afternoon. Will start rolling again tomorrow morning.

Rocks, we had snow here today. Tonight a low of 26. Tomorrow morning when I'm stopped to get gas, the wind chill is predicted to be 17. By Saturday it's supposed to be 80.

 

I actually rolled in home at 18:45. But REALLY good chicken and rice plus company kept me from posting before now.

I got to the truck stop a little prior to 08:00. I did some cleaning out and straightening up of my truck. Read. Played on my phone. At 10:30 sent a message asking if they forgot me and was it really that slow. Got back " I didn't know this thing was on" We were NOT amused.

One of my buddies showed up and managed to chop his cable for lights/brakes in two by trapping it between the coupler and the bed of the truck. Was helping him fix it when at 11am I got my first thing to do.

5 total things. A couple of them were over minimum but all in all not a very good day.

Have two morning assignments. One truckload and then one trailer load both to the same airline. First one with 10:30 cutoff, second one picks up after 10 with 13:00 cut.

 

Started the day (Sacramento) it was 65 (0530), Donner Summit cooled off to 29 (not absolutely pleasant on my bare legs), now Salt Lake City a perfect 43!

 

And you call 43 a perfect??!! That's either a joke or you are from Antartica...

When it gets to 80, I will feel comfortable.
