That would be cool, except for Monday. I'm already preloaded with rock to go to Claflin, which is North of Great Bend. It's possible that I may have to load wheat(ies) for Hanson-Mueller again. If so then it's almost certain New Market would be my next stop. 90% of the time I don't know where I'm going next, until I'm within 10 miles of my delivery.
Where are you

I like the apples you brought with you, Sweet Pete. We made it as far as the Legends/Speedway. I think we took another big step today in the house search. On a whim, there was an open house close by one we were looking at, and we stopped. The realtor was very nice, asked our price range, what all we were looking for, etc, and she now has our name, phone, email and is going to begin searching for areas/homes within our guidelines. The hubby and I both liked her instantly, and she wasn't at all pushy.
Drove by your New Market Hadite plant. We took the detour so I would know where I was going if I needed to take it Monday morning, I'll definitely have to leave earlier if I need to go that route. When I came home last night the bridge at Camden Point was intact, this afternoon it's completely gone. I wouldn't have believed it would come down so fast if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. -
I think I mentioned a cracked valve stem yesterday. Not sure if I included getting my spare out (Which is a CHORE).
I may or may not have spoken of auto repair work. Except for some pesky air somewhere in the system the Jeep has a new caliper, new pads, and now the left front wheel actually rotates when off the brakes!
The CHORE of putting the spare back has been accomplished.
We went to the grocery store in town and just got back. The power had gone out and was out for over 3 hours. It had just came back on before we went to the store.
Whew! What a day!
Dispatch had called and texted at about 10:15. When I called him at 14:00 he asked if I wanted to run to Corpus Christi tomorrow. But then he said 12,000 pounds.
With a sketchy tire, a 10,500 rated trailer and a paper license plate taped where the metal one used to be I declined....teddy_bear6506 and kw9's rock Thank this. -
Logan, if you were referring to the muddy lot where I was yesterday, actually that was not a US road, it was OH-31...
Well, my load today was preloaded when I arrived at shipper
Now I am at a FJ in WI... and going to deliver in Menomonie, WI tomorrow morning... and then will sit at the nearest truck stop for... hopefully 34 hrs... So I can start my week on Tuesday early morning with 70 hrs instead of having only 25 left after delivery and gaining hrs on Thursday...
Zen, did you say you will pass by Menomonie tomorrow??? Hummmm.... Maybe we could meet...
Logan76, truckon and FloTheWaitress Thank this. -

Well... week before - my dsp was on vacation - was good with over 3800 miles but this one...
My dsp was back and I was hoping things would go back to what used to be when former load planner was there... But to my dismay, waited 79 hrs to be dispatched again after my delivery on Sunday morning... and got 2334 miles this week... Well, I still have about 25 hrs after my delivery tomorrow but I am not interested in doing any store load for WM since those just consume my hrs and pay very little. I don't think my dsp will have anything for me right away either... So, I rather sit and get my 70 for Monday evening...
