Now, looking back at the original post....I guess I skipped over the difference in location, or it just didn't register....somehow I saw Sapps and how far to WY? Evidently, I got way more sun than I thought...it wasn't till this morning after a good, cool nights sleep in Weed that this ole body felt rested.
BTW...unless I know what I'm talking about I don't offer words in favor of or against the topic....but....I'm not a rookie so I guess there is a lot I need to learn...I'm sure I can find a Swift, England, or Schneider driver that could fill in some blank spots!

Things at AB actually ended up working perfectly. Called with about 50 minutes left to go on my 8 and they had just loaded my trailer so I started walking over to use the bathroom and the yard dog was just pulling it out of the door. Told him he could just leave it there if he wanted so got hooked up, slid my tandems and pulled onto the scales right at 8 hours and nailed my weight.
Now in Bowman, ND
Was tempted to try and make the RA east of Dickinson but it would've been really close so instead, I get to track red mud into my truck.

This thing about having delivery appointments is a pain in the neck.
Specially when customer can't reschedule the appointment. One of the things I like about my dedicated account is no delivery appointments.
But I am not pulling a Walmart load today...
Just a regular load from my company... Did first delivery this morning and second will have to be tomorrow early morning... these stops are only 2:30 away from each other.
So, was going to park at a Pilot in Channahon, IL to save 30 mins for tomorrow.... 2 other truck stops in the area charge for parking... not many choices.... But after seeing it on Google aerial view, I changed my mind...
It looks pretty congested and very tight... I wonder if it's one of those Pilots that's always full any time of day... Not sure I would be able to get a good parking spot there... And the weather is not very good right now. Raining "cats and dogs", strong wind and pretty dark....

So... got a great parking spot right here.... and I think will stay here.

Yup, that PEElot off of US6 is always full.
I'm at the PEElot at Stanton TN. Storms dissipated overnight. Looks like I dodged that bunch...

One thing I didn't like at this place, there's no McDonald's, no Subway, no Wendy's....
There's Arby's instead...
I have plenty of food in the truck but would like to have some french fries or perhaps a veggie pizza... Arby's food is awful! Everything is very greasy and tastes like bacon...
I definitely don't eat that...

kingman az at the TA
waiting on another swap
I am being way too nice to my dispatcher -
Ohhh.... I got it wrong...
Arby's is across the street. The fast food here is Hardee's... which is almost the same as Arby's... same greasy food, fried chicken stuff, etc... Ah! But there's a McDonald's across the street.... Well... too late now. I already filled up my stomach with brown rice, brown beans, cooked potatoes, spinach, squash and tomato, lettuce and beet salad.
