You're right about that, especially after the last three days I've had. I was supposed to be home 3+ days. In the end, I could have dragged my load through the house, got home Sunday morning, and left out Sunday night. I told them the hell with it....I'll just go home next weekend for as many days as I care to take, seeing as they screwed me royally this weekend.
I got no argument.
I'm at the J in Blacksburg, SC taking a 34. Anyone comes by, I'll be at the Waffle House across the road gorging myself in an attempt to make myself an easier target for the next CRE driver that comes through the parking lot....Last edited: May 25, 2013

It was a beautiful day here in DE... Got out of the truck, my body needed to move a little. Walked 4.5 miles.... Went to another mall, then to a rest area... Darn! Didn't take my camera with me and missed a great opportunity to take a picture of the nice water fountain at the rest area.... Now moved truck back to the back of strip mall where there's nobody, no cars, no noise, nothing...

It does, but when a similar thing happened last year, I told an OPS MGR that I'd stay out (after they completely missed a scheduled hometime for me), but my next time home, I take as many days as I care to.
"No problem", said he.
So...next weekend shall be long. But not too long....dang still paying two mortgages because we haven't been able to rent out our house in that small college town....aarrrrggghhhh....teddy_bear6506 Thanks this. -
Wifey has one....loves it. In fact, she lost her phone and hasn't really made an effort to find it....she's rather just post and text on her tablet!

You really shouldn't attempt to photograph anything so challenging....start with, oh, I don't know.....some gum on the sidewalk!

(I know the fountain was probably very attractive, but at first read, I couldn't stop laughing!!)Rocks and FloTheWaitress Thank this. -
You got to stand up for yourself, Pack. I'm sure you're family misses you not being there as much as you do.Rocks Thanks this.

After reading what you wrote, I couldn't stop laughing myself...
Rushed to Wikipedia again to make sure I used the words "water fountain" the correct way. And I did.
That rest area is beautiful, it has lots of very high trees and a few paved trails among them... a pond.. a nice garden.... and the water fountain in the middle.
Only thing I disliked was the no idling rule. Each truck parking spot has a pole with those idle air stations where you can plug electrical stuff, get hot and cold air... But nobody was using...
