it just makes me feeel stupid for putting up with it ...........sigh

 

You're not stupid, Pete. You have to find the company that is a good fit for you, and that treats it's drivers with a little respect. I know that's not going to be easy to find, but you'll find it. ~Hugs~

 

I sympathize with you Pete... you know... but hey, Teddy_bear is right. You will find the right place in due time. And we are here for you... whenever you want to vent. You are not alone.

 

been empty since 6 am so 10 off after 16 off before i unloaded
now i need to be resting to run all night
but awake enough to get a phone call to back into a door
i know it is just trucking BUT

 

Yes... sometimes it can get like that... Try to get some sleep while at the dock... lay down at least and try to relax... Hopefully by the time they finish, you will not be too sleepy. When I have to drive all night, I drink a Brazilian herb tea very strong in caffeine. It helps a lot.

I hope our friend Pete was able to get some good rest last night... or maybe he is resting now...
Me, got tired of sitting in that mall parking lot. Went to WM DC this morning.... no store loads for me. That's OK. Got empty trailer and now parked at this truck stop in MD only 10 mins from my p/up tomorrow morning.



Will have 4 trips starting tomorrow. All heavy loads.... 200 miles each trip... Going to same shipper 3 times... And delivering at busy Walmart stores... All in NJ, PA and MD.... Lots of traffic jam in those areas.... I really hope after that will get a 1500 mile trip...

 

OMG! A Pilot without ONE vehicle in the fuel island??????

 

I thought the same... I guess it was because of the holiday and the time I got here... But not for too long.... This is how it looks now...



More trucks keep coming.... I think this place will be full by this evening.
