How is I 76/ I70 through Colorado looking? I have a friend traveling through NE right now on her way to CA.

Not sure where Morris is, but right now, Springfield and Effingham IL are about to take the hit.

While everything is quiet now, please Pete, and anybody else in the path, keep up with the weather updates. I love most of y'all, and I don't want anything to happen to you if there are ways to avoid it. ~Hugs~

 

Every time I thought I was through I'd get another text. For my last pick up at SDV I was to get two crates at 52xx pounds. But they wanted to put five other crates on me. I called the main number and got the night dispatch lady. She said I know nothing about it so tell them no.

I called back because they were QUITE insistent! She said SDV is calling and I will call you back. I ended up taking it. 3 people were involved and THEY WILL NOT TALK TO ONE ANOTHER about what's going on!

Also had to drag the trailer home for a pick up on the way into Houston on Monday.

Rolled in 20:35 and ain't gonna be awake MUCH longer.

 

Taking my 10 hr break in a very small lot at a Sam's DC in IN. Only another Walmart driver here... Guard let me take my break here cause I was out of hrs and will get an empty early morning.

 

Stopped just east of Clinton Ok. I heard what was happening in OKC and stopped. I'm glad I had a lunch break in Amarillo otherwise I would have been in that tornado. I was on my way along I40 and would have been taking I40 around to I35 and onto the 44 turnpike to Tulsa .

 

Bridgeport, CA....a balmy 58*, clear skies....might have to put on the sweats before the sun comes up.

TB...Morris is up just a bit south and west of Chitown.....if memory serves that is!

 

exit 112 on 80 15 miles west of Joliet

 

Second rest area on I40 east of Ft Smith. Started in the OK panhandle yesterday morning, and instead of jumping down to I40 there I continued on east towards Tulsa. Missed all the fun in OKC last night.
