I'm in Scranton, PA. at the Petro till early tomorrow morning...Then It's off to Norwich, CT. to unload.

 

My paperwork says p/u Evonik Energy Services. It says its 40,000lbs of modules whatever that is

 

I was able to sleep in my own bed last night. I'm in from NJ on Thursday heading to L.A. for a Monday lunch delivery. I stopped in Va. Friday at a rest area...inside the rest area, on a paved shoulder on the truckside, painted up nice to welcome overflow parking. No this wasn't in the area where they flood the 'No Parking' signs.

Anyway a VA. pooper banged on my truck. I got up & rolled down my window & he tells me I gotta leave the RA. I looked backed down my trailer and said "I'm on the overflow shoulder inside the paint & when I parked I got out to look to see how far inside I was & it looked to be 30 feet from the end." In his God-like voice he raised his voice without yelling and commanded, "YOU GOTTA LEAVE."

So exhausted I made a couple of exits and slept on the on-ramp shoulder....

 

Definitely not what I was thinking. Probably a good thing. That mica I hauled out of King Mountain is #### near impossible to sweep out. Whatever you load....be safe!

 

Groundpounder would have been in Norwich by now. Ya gotta stop taking those chrome (dome) polishing breaks!!!

Harrisonburg, VA in about 3 1/2 hours to get a nibble.
