    Champlain, NY, getting ready to head over to the very place I was deadheaded 180 miles last week to get a load that hadn't come south from Canada yet. Came across VT last night....little frozen stuff made the roads slightly slushy, but not bad.

    Second p/u tomorrow in northern NJ then on to Indy. Still hoping for a mid-2k week this week, but it's not looking good.

    I don't have a problem with NYC...I usually ask for loads to the northeast because they seem to pay better.
    I don't know why! Possibly because so many guys don't want to run up here!
