Where are you

Gettin' ready to haul "Wally's" stuff to his "World" in Sayre PA.

 

Just hooked up to my trailer in Jonesboro, LA after visiting with some friends....


Now I must roll west, north, and then west some more until I get to a point that I need to turn north again.

 

Just go up yonder past the old oak tree then turn by where Tom's Uncle used to live til you get over there where the old church that John and Tammy got married in and turn again. Then you're only a couple hundred miles away.

 

Wow, that pay schedule is a lot more complicated than bbq'n a turkey. I have always used offset heat. Coals on the sides of a drip pan to collect the best gravy makin juices ever (darn, I am salivating just writing about 'em). My experience is close to that of an oven, but usually a little faster. Could use a cooking thermometer, but good old grilling sense about juices and their color. BBQ birds are extra juicy. After you do a few do a brine and bbq......Another NOTCH! (Check Good Eats on Foodtv for Brine recipe...Alton Brown I believe).....Happy feasting.

 

Oh no no no....It's not the watching what you think but the idea of letting it become more than a though...Lol
