Just what the world needs... another friggin' PEE-Lot!
Speakin' of PEE-Lots, I'm at the "high class" version - Bosselman's in Grand Island NE. -
It's been FUN lately! Right now I'm in Edinburg, TX at the Hook.
Don't remember where I was when I last posted.
After being late in Grand Prairie, TX due to bad instructions... I went to Los Lunas, NM. Thence to Belen, NM thence to Berkeley, SC. Got voided off of three loads in a row. Then got one of those bust my butt Con-Way loads. Then to Whites Creek,TN to get a load for Laredo. Then they said, hook trailer R100 (a reefer) which was burried behind MANY other trailers.
I had never seen so many trailers on the Laredo yard.
Anyway it got open this morning and I got a load with 1st stop Edinburg and 2nd stop Mission going to Atlanta on the 1st.
Found out I can't pick either one up 'til Monday. So I'll get a 34 here.
BTW. Thermo KIng SB-210 is a pretty sweet reefer! -
I've been stuck in the Brooks, OR rain since this morning waiting for a dispatch. I have begun to dread spending time in this part of the country.
For years when I lived on the east coast I always heard people speak of the beauty found here in OR, WA, and NorCal. It sure is pretty in the postcards! If beauty can be considered snow, ice, nearly getting crushed against my trailer on the side of hwy 97 while I was chaining up, and a week long head cold, well then I guess I can agree with them. I'm ready to go back down to the desert to warm up and dry out for a week.Last edited: Nov 27, 2010

What you are experiencing is the payback for beautiful summers and lush green scenery.
Short, wet and cold winters days.....for months. I know, I live there.
