Redd. They closed the road early this morning. Then they opened it. BUT if you have a light trailer you're not suppose to run. We have an EMPTY trailer. That's pretty light. Sooooooooo our fleet manager said turn back and wait for the winds to die down to under 35mph. Please try and keep up. :biggrin_25523:

If I could get to Laramie I'd be peachy keen. :biggrin_2556: It's between Cheyenne and Laramie that's having the high gusts. *sighs* Trust me, if I could I'd go. I'm trapped in a can on wheels with someone who is NOT a happy camper. He's just SURE that any moment the wind will stop so we can't go eat, shower, nap or anything because we need to be ready to GO GO GOOOOOOO! *grips the steering wheel and presses my face to the window glass* It's an interesting day. And I'm frustrating him as well because I'm the type of person that figures there is no point in getting worked up over things you can not change; such as the weather. *sighs*

We just left Grove City yesterday, 1nonly....we were there for Thanksgiving, spent some quality time with close friends and family.

BTW, I wonder which category an ex-sister-in-law would go in??? LOL She's still family, as well as a very good friend. That's where we had dinner, got to spend time with my daughter and grand-baby, Mariyah.

A good time was had by all!!

Well currently we're in Laramie. We actually believed the updates and set out on I80. The lying pigs....not only was the wind the same but those "clear roads" were solid ice for about 15 miles. And 12 of that was down grades. I confessed all my sins to God and evidently He was impressed because we made it to Laramie. I'm regrouping and about to pull back out. Unless the lying pigs are still lying the worst is behind us.

Pratt KS. Life is much better with 41k in the box instead of a load of sailboat fuel!
