So much for seeing the East Coast....turns out, when company sales called to get the final and stop addresses to set up the load, the shipper all of a sudden decided to have delivery set for the 13th (was 9th) and said that the driver might need the extra time since the generator was "quite a bit heavier" than the regular 28ft we have been hauling for them. How much heavier? Try generator gross is 68,000, with the chassis 73,000 on a 48ft chassis...and only two axles on the chassis....small issue of heavy haul, permits, etc, etc, etc! These people don't have a clue!

So back to the I-5 and OR/WA maybe some TX here and there!
