Being a bad neighbor is what gets us kicked out of many reasonable parking places. You guys just made a total truck-hater out of that guy. Hopefully y'all policed-up your pee-bottles, yes?

its obvious he was already a truck hater b4 we even got there you could barely hear the apu and noone was urinating outside... its to cold would have made us all feel even more inatiquit ahhahahah :biggrin_25523:

i think the feller was just looking to mess with people because he himself is an unhappy person...

if he wasnt looking to ruffle feathers he wouldnt have been on his back patio watching us leave when the officer pointed at him and said he was makin the complaint... officer even said he never sleeps happily there can be a delivery van making a delivery in the middle of the night and he will call on them.... its like 20 degrees out who in their right mind is goin to be on their back balcony just chillin in their shorts unless they were tryin to get a rise...

officer even said its bs but he still has to do his job cause the city gets complaints from him cause hes a lawyer and trying to keep a failed firm up and goin and that hes already made money off the city for noise complaints on walmart and home depot which both back his house now no one can do their business even if its quietly, between 11:00 pm and 6:00 am also stated thats its been like this for about 4 years and its about once every other night they have to come out for something dealing with a noise complaint from this feller:biggrin_25516::biggrin_25516:

personally i think its a person who has no life and is a low life.. its ok 2 of us are making deliveries there in the morning i have a dry load for the walmart and the other feller is a flatbed that has a load for the depot....

Yep, orion, there are many, many folks like the one you have described here.

What this "lawyer" fails to understand, is that even the paper he wipes his rear-end with, is brought to him via a TRUCKER!!!

When we are all fed up with his "kind", and are not allowed/refuse to deliver to his local store....who's he gonna call THEN???
NOT the popo, that's for certain!!!

    I fully agree.

But... many people have a stereotype of "truckers" - kind of akin to the attitude that some folks have to people who are shaded a little differently from their skin color. Now that isn't right, but it's the way it is. All it takes is one of these fools who is politically connected (ie a friggin' lawyer) to start the ball rolling on a complete ban on truck parking within a municipality. Now I'm not advocating bending over for these types, but it doesn't pay us anything to go out of our way to antagonize them unecessisarily either.

IP, I've been stereotyped most of my adult life..

"truck-stop waitress"= "trash", LL, or whatever
"female flat-bed driver"= "needs help", "stupid", "lesbian", and/or "needs to get laid"

"wife of a trucker"= "you don't know squat, you dumb #######"

Stereotypes are simply a part of my life. And the reality is, I don't fit into ANY of them. (Well, except for the crazy-menopausal-gray haired, cast-iron-skillet wielding, Betty Boop obsessed lady!!! LOL)

That all being said, we are in Georgia.....again...

That's our line....stop trying to steal the male stereotype....it's bad enough you gals get all the other stuff....menopause, backaches from boobies, child birth, that monthly thing.....you must learn to leave the males (the dominant sex) at least something to whine about!!!!!:biggrin_25521:
