I unloaded at International Paper... probably right close by. Loaded up in Lakeland and on my way back up now.

Sounds like Cargill was pretty hectic. They started loading by appointment a little while back because of the truck jams that would occur every now and then. When I was there last week, they were doing it FCFS again. Wonder if it will last? I hate having a specific time to load.

If the company sees things anywhere near like I do I'm BT out of Shepherd, TX Friday AM.

At least my day dispatcher will be there!

 

I think what they're doing now is like an "appointment window". If you show up during the "window" it's FCFS for drivers who are scheduled during that time. A driver who checked in right before I did assumed it was FCFS and backed into the next available door. He got pulled out!

 

Arrived in beautiful(?)Chicago 5am for unloading & reload at same place...Got Lucky!?

 

Hopefully...but not good if it takes 4 hours to off load and another 5 hours to load....that would bite!

 

Oh,it will be ALL of that.....& then some....but I have till Mon to get back to Mn

Picked up at Levitt tube in Chicago today. Now I am back home till sunday and deliver Monday over in OH.
