    As most generally are :yes2557:
Then you get the selfrighteous judgmental retorts from the Professionals
    that always end in futility.

I think that drop north of Corona is close to 2 miles long
which affords excellent mpg when pushed by 24 ton :biggrin_25525:

Another wonderful night in Amarillo at the T/A :biggrin_25512:
May hit the Big Texan for dinner,18oz ribeye should make up for the Popeyes chicken from last nights supper.

Some of us have been running fast trucks for decades without stackin' them up.
Not because of luck but because of good judgement as to when it's prudent to run fast and when it's not.
I have run like that on good two lane blacktop many times myself and have passed lots of trucks the same way he did as well.
Just because a guy runs fast doesn't necessarily mean he's dumb or is gonna wreck.

    It's his money to waste!
By the way, My truck still gets well over 6 MPG at those speeds and the freight I'm hauling pays a lot more per mile than SWIFT or any of those "mileage rate" companies pay you to haul their trailers around.
If my customer needs me to get the freight there ASAP, I'm gonna get it there ASAP as long as I can do it legally on my logs...If that means running 75/80 all day and I see that it's prudent to do so, That's what's gonna happen.

The big 36 oz sirloin medium with some fried okra and mashed tarters is the best. I have finished that once. Tried it again and didnt come close.

Happy for ya', BW9. As I said, I wouldn't waste my breath yapping on the radio about it. I couldn't care less unles I'm inconvenienced by it. Knock yourself out. I get to laugh at whomever I choose to, for whatever reason I find amusing. Even you, Grumpaw.

Fixin' to head over Elk Mt before the wind kicks up again. Probably make West Wendover for the night.

    Cheers!
