Only done a couple of Target drops in my short time out here but the DC in Midway GA is cool. Dropped/hooked in about 20 mins from the time I hit the gate. Had 10-15 mts to choose from.

 

If you're driving a Volvo, it needs a heater core (probably front AND rear), and that absolutely HAS to be replaced before the blower motor is filled with coolant and lights the truck on fire. Yep, happened to me.

Volvos eat heater cores for some reason.

The air leak, (again only if it's a Volvo) is probably the air manifold located on the frame rail on the driver's side near the transmission. Your company shop mechanics probably already know this but they're trying to pass the buck to a different shop because they are a pain in the ### to replace.

I like chasing tail.... I don't get confused until I catch the tail.

 

Mine is due for its annual heater core replacement. I was gonna have the shop try attaching a ground wire to it to see if that will stop it from being eaten up. I think it is electrically isolated and is acting as an anode through the coolant.

 

On my way to the yard. It was a real bear this time. DOT posts with guardrail attached, about 6" of clearance...not including the door, so better make that about 2". To get out of the truck, be ready to do some damage to your door, be really skinny or go out the passenger side. There's a post right where you have to open the door. But, the little gal on the dock matched her name Nikki Courtney perfectly. Very cute and very sweet...but not smarmy girly sweet.
