Drove 200 miles & made $800.... Tomorrow isn't going to be near as profitable but it is a start. Ate at Austin's Steakhouse across the street.... I ordered my truck stop usual & was surprised when I got more food.... And even more surprised with the bill was $4.00 less then normal.

 

Home, and I'm keeping my CDL for at least another year. Dr. said we'll control my diabetes by exercise and diet. I'm now on a very strict diet for the next year and expected to walk a minimum of 1.5 miles every day or bicycle 6 miles every day. Also, instead of going to the CDL Dr., I have to go to my family Dr. for my DOT's from now on.

Was heading up the service road to get onto I40 this afternoon... got up to a traffic light just as it turned yellow for me - too close to stop, already braking because the intersection looked bumpy and the light was getting "stale" - good #### thing. Some stupid little girl ran the intersection on a dead cold red light... I don't think she realized what she'd done until I hit the air horn.

 

Do what the Doc tells you....unless you want some old craggy nurse giving you a sponge bath in the hospital!

 

Knowing my luck.... It'll be a male nurse with a name tag that says "Hi! I'm Buckeye Bedder"

 

Could be worse REDD....a male nurse named "Dick Jones"!
