I was also at the Pilot in Birmingham thursday and friday. When you pulled in the lot if you would've looked straight ahead and a little to the right you'd have seena dirty blue FLD flattop with a wing on it, that was me.

How many times did you get hit up for money? I got it 3 times and one working girl thrusday night.:biggrin_25516:

    None.
Pulled in, waited in line a bit for an open fuel lane. Filled up. Went over and scaled out. Then backed into a spot. (in case I had to do some tandem sliding) Walked in and got my scale ticket and a few drinks. Looked everything over and then I left. I was probably in there at most 30 minutes.

Then since I had to take 65 north I thought "Hey, let's follow this sign down Finley instead of going back to 20/59. Lordy what a great idea that was! No hectic lane changes while creeping up hill to make it over to the 65 exit.

Now I'll just have to remember if I'm on 65 south and want to go to the pilot, just exit at Finley and hang a right and it dead ends right at the Pilot. So much easier than having to deal with that exit on 20/59.

Oh yeah Finley is great! Redd gave me directions to the Pilot and routed me down Finley. Its a rough road but alot easier than going down to 20/59, which is the way I went out cause of where I went to load.

Well pay the "girl" and let her out of your truck. Look I understand your disappointment when you found it she wasn't born a girl but keeping her in the sleeper is just wrong.:biggrin_25522:

Made it to Clarendon, TX...I guess the tire on the passenger side of the trailer was getting cold...popped the wheel seal and torched off the fluid and bearings...it was purty for sure!

Now lets see if the road service can do any better than OBGYN's Oklahoma ritual!

    JustSonny Thanks this.
